How tagging works

Tags are used to associate related entries together. Once you add a tag to your entry, you can view all the entries related to this tag in one place. You can also use “Logling” insights to use AI tools to analyze your data.

Advice on tagging

Associating your entries together is easy to do and hard to master. In fact, you may want to do it differently depending on the topic. For instance, the tag “fond-memories” can be used to log any fond memory, and there’s no need to limit the number of entries associated with it. Conversely, “sleep-quality” may be too general or long lived. You may want to add a month or year to it to give you a more digestible or relevant dataset - because you may prefer recent sleep quality data to data from a year ago. Consider instead “sleep-quality-2025” or “sleep-quality-12-2025”.
