Use passkeys to sign in

Passkeys let you sign in without typing your password. On supported devices, Logling can use the security already built into your phone, tablet, or computer.

Add a passkey

  1. Sign in to Logling.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Find the Passkeys section.
  4. Click Add passkey.
  5. Follow the browser or device prompt to save the passkey.

Sign in with a passkey

  1. Open the sign-in page.
  2. Choose Sign in with passkey.
  3. Approve the prompt from your device.

Manage passkeys

In Settings, the passkey section shows each saved passkey and when it was added. It also shows when it was last used for sign-in.

From there you can:

  • rename a passkey to something more recognizable
  • delete a passkey you no longer use
  • keep multiple passkeys for backup devices

Good passkey habits

  • Add more than one passkey if you can.
  • Keep at least one passkey on a device you use regularly.
  • If you remove an old device, delete its passkey from Settings.

What if passkeys are not available?

Some browsers or devices may not support passkeys yet. In that case, continue signing in with your password, or add an authenticator app for extra protection.
