Account security basics
Logling gives you a few ways to protect access to your account. The best setup depends on how you prefer to sign in, but most people should start with a verified email address and then add at least one stronger sign-in method. If you use a password to sign in, setting up an authenticator app is recommended.
Recommended setup
- Verify your email address after creating your account.
- Add a passkey if your browser or device supports it.
- Set up an authenticator app. This is recommended for any account that still uses password sign-in.
- Save your recovery options so you can still get back in later.

Which option should I use?
Passkeys
Passkeys are the easiest long-term option for most people. They let you sign in with your device’s built-in security, such as Face ID, Touch ID, Windows Hello, or your screen lock.
Password + authenticator app
If you prefer to keep using a password, we recommend adding an authenticator app. It protects password sign-in with a time-based 6-digit code and recovery codes.
Password reset
Password reset is there for account recovery. If you forget your password, Logling can send a reset link to your email address.
